For almost 30 years, Rural Lifestyle Options Australia (RLOA) has been dedicated to addressing unmet need across rural and regional communities. Their footprint has grown considerably since their inception, allowing them to address local issues in rural and regional communities across Queensland and New South Wales. Since 2015 CBA has been working with the board, CEO and senior staff on key governance projects. These projects including governance reviews and plans, board and executive staff performance reviews and Director recruitment processes have provided RLOA with a strong governance framework, practical tools and resources to support volunteer Board Directors successfully guide and lead in a time of significant reform of the disability and aged care sectors.
Working with Patrick and Community Business Australia meant that we were about to transition from a Management Committee to a Board of Directors, including assisting the organisation to successful transition from an Association to a Company Ltd.
