Since 1983 CatholicCare Social Services based in the Darling Downs region of South West QLD has been committed to Christian principles of social justice and has responded to the needs of individuals, families and the community of Toowoomba and the Darling Downs region.
CatholicCare’s aim is to provide services which empower individuals, families and communities to meet the challenges of life and relationships. As the social services arm of the Catholic Diocese of Toowoomba, they are committed to providing programs, professional services and activities that are designed to reflect this philosophy.
Community Business Australia has worked alongside the Board of Directors, Kate Venables and the executive team on a number of projects involving strategic planning and re-branding of the organisation from Centacare to CatholicCare.
Working with Patrick and CBA meant that we were able to trek through the daunting challenge of changing our organisational name and all that that implies without the usual drama and panic. Patrick was a source of advice and information, as well as affirmation and encouragement, and our leadership team and our Board were very reassured in that transition and so it went off without a hitch.
